In January 2007, Aerosend opened its Cargo business concentrating
on freight forwarding of Balikbayan Boxes (Personal Effects). It
is a business common amongst Filipinos who ship care packages to their
loved ones in the Philippines. Aerosend consolidates these packages
in containers and ships it to the Philippines via ocean freight or,
sometimes, air freight. Aerosend’s customer service is open 24
hrs everyday except for some weekend and holiday hours. It is in the
